We love these enchanting little dove
necklaces. Not only are they eco, ethical
and fair they are surely the 'must have'
accessory for spring and summer.
Made from vegetable ivory, every dove is
lovingly hand carved and coloured with
vegetal dye making each piece unique.
Vegetable ivory is the result of a long
and attentive process. It is derived from a
nut that when dried for up to 8 weeks
resembles the finest elephant ivory.
The dawn of synthetics saw a decline in
this once valuable and desirable material.
At Use UK we think it's about time for its
resurgence.
