Use UK's range of beautiful super soft Gondola Bags are shoulder bags individually handcrafted from  sumptuous  leather.  The vintage buckles make each bag unique.

Due to increased demand and the ongoing difficulty of sourcing rescued leather, we are now offering our shoulder bags in 3 different ranges of leather. 

 

Luxury Eco - shoulder bags hand made from leather rescued from the furniture industry - destined for landfill - SORRY not available at the moment

Luxury Veg Tan - shoulder bags hand made  from leather tanned using water, tannin from tree bark, leaves and fruits of trees including chestnut, oak and hemlock, vegetable tanned leather is in our opinion  more eco friendly than chromium tanned.  

 

Luxury Bags - shoulder bags hand made with slightly distressed vintage looking beautiful soft leather from a UK supplier who promotes sustainable and appropriate environmental business practices within the leather industry and follow guidelines set out by the Carbon Trust


We searched hi and low for fabulous material to line these bags  and found beautiful quality, 100% cotton which is printed with a designer pattern.

Please note: There is only one of each leather bag available.  As the price of different leathers  vary each bag is priced individually. Postage prices are to the UK only, please contact us for a shipping quote if you live outside the UK.

 

 

Customers desiring a Gondola bag can choose the colour leather and lining they want and we will choose a buckle to complement the design.  Please contact us for details.

 
 

Description: This design is perfect for showcasing the super soft leather and Use UK's signature vintage buckles which makes each bag unique.

Each leather bag is securely closed with a magnetic popper on an adjustable strap which features a unique, vintage buckle. As the strap is adjustable this bag can be filled as little or as much as you like!

Other features include: an adjustable shoulder strap, leather zip pocket, large leather patch pocket as well as a handy key chain so you'll never loose your keys in this bottomless pit of a bag. As usual, these bags are lined with 100% cotton with fabulous prints and are adorned with the Use UK hand carved vegetable ivory dove.

This leather shoulder bag features a large russet vintage buckle with carved detail in 2 corners  and is complimented perfectly with 100% cotton lining with a damask antler print. Finished with a hand carved, vegetable dyed, tan brown  vegetable ivory dove.

This gorgeous tan leather shoulder bag is very soft and slightly distressed with a vintage/worn quality to it. This versatile leather bag features a  glossy, air force blue buckle from the 1940's and a  blue  lining which contrast beautifully with the colour of the leather.  Finished with a hand carved, vegetable dyed, tan  vegetable ivory dove.

This leather is very soft and  distressed with a vintage/worn quality to it.  We have called it sharkskin because it is not a jet black but we love the slightly faded vintage look this gives the bag. This leather shoulder bag features a black wood vintage buckle from the 40's and a quirky multi coloured heart lining and is finished with a hand carved, vegetable dyed, red  vegetable ivory dove.

Vegetable Tanned Leather

 

It has become increasingly difficult for us to find leather remnants large enough to design our bags so we have decided to use vegetable tanned leather to meet the increasing demand for our designer bags.

 

Tanned using water, tannin from tree bark, leaves and fruits of trees including chestnut, oak and hemlock, vegetable tanned leather is in our opinion  more eco friendly than chromium tanned.
